When darkness descends upon November and All Saints’ Day arrives, we gather to remember our dead – with candles, silence and music. It is in this atmosphere that Maurice Duruflé’s Requiem takes on a special significance. Few works so gently capture people’s longing for comfort and peace.

Who are the Stockholm Cathedral Chamber Choir?
The Stockholm Cathedral Chamber Choir is a young chamber choir that was formed in August 2023 by conductor Helene Stureborg. The choir consists of 40 vocally well-trained and experienced young singers aged 17–26 years.
The Stockholm Cathedral Chamber Choir regularly takes part in services as well as gives its own concerts in the Stockholm Cathedral and Saint James’s Church. The choir frequently performs in other venues, as well.
